Embolden Community Allies provides personal home care services to residents that need help with daily activities otherwise known as ADLs (activities of daily living) in healthcare. Inability to perform such tasks can be as a result of disabilities or long-term and chronic conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Services include

• Continence and Toileting Care
• Walking and Mobility Assistance
• Transfering and Positioning

Companion care specializes in emotional support and companionship for the elderly. However, it may also include non-medical personal care services.  Our Caregivers will:

• Engage clients in meaningful conversations,
• Organize visits to friends and family,
• Assist in running errands and shopping,
• Encourage and plan recreational activities like going to the movies, sightseeing, picnics, playing games or anything that the client enjoys

Embolden Community Allies provides Respite care which is the temporary care provided to patients hence giving the family’s primary caregiver a break. Through various studies, respite care to seniors has been shown to maintain caregivers’ health and well being, reduce abuse and neglect cases, prevent or delay out-of-home placements, and reduce the probability of divorce.
